(BI made (yet another :) Japanese input module for GTK2.
(Bim-ja aims to be a generic Japanese input module for GTK+2. Currently supported
(Binput modes are:
(B * Hiragana
(B * Katakana
(B * Zenkaku
(B * Canna (Using the Canna conversion engine)
(B * Kanji character recognition (based on Kanjipad)
(BFurther goals are to implement all of the most widely used Japanese input

(Bim-ja is based on im-canna and im-nakai written by Yukihiro Nakai.
(BThe kanji recognition uses Owen Taylor's Kanjipad.
(BSource, deb, screenshot, etc are at http://gjiten.sourceforge.net/im-ja/
(BSeems like there are some projects aiming for the same goal. It would be nice to
(BComments are welcome.
