これは，まだ見たことのない書き方です．
コメントだから，そんなに気にする必要はないのでしょうけど，やはり
「パッケージ名 ja.po」みたいな書き方がわかりやすいような気がします．

なるほど．customize で設定していたのに反映されていないので不思議に思っ
ていたのですが，setq でやればちゃんと反映されますね．
