"it won't work"が「プレイヤーはそれを再生できなくなります」となっているようですが、これは大幅な意訳ですよね。
再生できないのは事実だと思いますが、ここでは「再生」については触れていない(ページタイトルをよく読んでください)ので、ちょっと先に行き過ぎている気がします。
素直に、このやりかただとうまくいきません、という感じよいのではないかと思いますが、いかがでしょうか?

その一方で、「音楽プレイヤーは〜を知っている」という、ガチガチの逐語訳が出てくるのが気になります。
英語では無生物が主語になることは普通ですが、擬人的な表現は日本語マニュアルとしては不自然な気がします (開発者同士の会話とかなら気になりませんが)。

参考までにこんな感じはいかがでしょうか?
「また、iPodを取り外す前に楽曲のコピーが完了したことを確認(する必要があります|してください)」

「<link>安全に取り出す方法</link>を選択したことを確認します」
「必ず<link>安全に取り外してください</link>」でどうでしょう。

「確実に、適切に」について、「確実に」は"make sure"から取ってきましたか?
もしそうであれば、それ自体はよいのですが「適切に (properly)」と修飾レベルのレイヤーが本来異なるので、そこは区別した方がよいかなと思いました。
