gnome-core 1.0.55pre1 がリリースされました。アナウンスは

で読めます。1.0.54 との違いは、細かなバグ修正で、

    * (small) memory leak fixed in the panel 
    * nice/systems labels in cpuload properties are finally correct (this 
            had been fixed in HEAD for a while) 
    * gnome-terminal session management fixes 
    * more documentation/translations 
    * one (possibly more) gnome-help-browser crash fixes (still waiting for 
            good stack traces of a crash) 

です。gnome-core 1.0.55pre1 は

 ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/testing/gnome-core-1.0.55pre1.tar.gz 
 ftp://ftp.jp.gnome.org/pub/ftp.gnome.org/testing/gnome-core-1.0.55pre1.tar.gz 

などにあります。

  これは近く予定されているgnome-core 1.0.55 の pre release 版で、他の 
GNOME 主要アプリケーションも更新され、新しいGNOME の安定版(1.0.55?)が
リリースされるとのことです。

  翻訳の更新や、bug fix などがあれば今のうちです。
