「バイト」と「KB」の混在

以前、bps の訳語の議論があり、基本的に原文と同じにすることになりましたが、
これとちょっと関連しそうなこととして、
beagle の翻訳で以下のようなやりとりがありました。

これについて、
原文が byte/bytes と KB (Kbyte などでなく)という表記だったので、
以下のような修正をしたのですが、
「バイト」と「KB」の混在 (原文に合わせる) か、
「バイト」と「Kバイト」か、どちらがよいか、
皆さんのご意見を伺いたいと思います。
